Moving boxes

If your move exceeds €1000,- you can borrow standard moving boxes for free from Student Movers. If your move is cheaper, the rental fee is €1.00 per box. In both cases, you'll pay a deposit of €2.50 per box. The deposit will be refunded if you return the boxes within 3 months after the moving date.

It’s very important to have enough moving boxes on hand. Loose items (that would fit in a box) take much more time to move and are not insured. Through our years of experience, we know that the number of boxes needed is often underestimated. In our moving box & materials webshop, we offer advice on the number of boxes you’ll need.

Preferably not. Our young movers are more focused on and better at the physical lifting work and technical tasks, such as disassembling and assembling furniture.

Within 25 km of Eindhoven, we deliver moving materials once for free. If you want to order more afterwards, a delivery fee of €30 applies. If you live outside this area, you can pick up the moving boxes yourself on Monday evening between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. You can make an appointment for this through our website."

Yes, at Student Movers, you can also borrow paintimg boxes, volume boxes, and wardrobe boxes. For moves over €2000, this is free! You only pay a deposit.

 You may borrow the moving boxes for up to 3 months from the moving date. After this period, we may deduct part of the deposit.

Boxes are only delivered once. If you happen to have ordered too few, you can, in urgent cases, pick up additional boxes on Monday between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Stephan’s home. Please always contact us beforehand to arrange this.

There are several ways to schedule the return of your moving boxes:

• Scan the QR code with the text “Return me” on top of the moving box and enter your email address on the website. You will then automatically receive an email allowing you to schedule the return of the moving boxes.
• In the invoice email you received immediately after the move, there is a button that allows you to schedule the return of the moving boxes.

Yes, absolutely! We also move boxes that you have purchased and packed yourself. For example, boxes from Action, GAMMA, IKEA, HORNBACH, or banana boxes.

Please note: Items packed in boxes supplied by the customer are not insured during the move. For optimal protection, we therefore recommend using our own moving boxes.

Close with packing tape. Please note: cut the tape open after use. Pulling the tape off will result in the deposit being forfeited.
